Indefinite time lines comes from both parties as I still have an E-Mail from Tony @ Fast Intentions when I inquired about a TT from him and he said it should be done by last summer, so he is a year behind on that himself. However at least he didn't get neck deep in peoples money taking orders like the competition. Not trying to start a debate, but in all honesty when it comes to parts that aren't on the shelf I have a hard time ordering them. Much less group buys that are always a pain to begin with unless you are the last ******* to sign up lol.

I've had a horrid experience with GTM...in a year I didn’t receive a single thing I ordered...was trying to do a stage 4 twin build. Needed the TT kit, full exhaust, EBC, OS Giken clutch/LSD, among a plethora of other things....didnt receive a damn thing. Luckily all was paid for via AMEX so I was able to get ALL my money back.

I concur with DPE G; I am also awaiting for my order which I placed a while back ago about 2 months for some resonated TP's and still haven't received them from F.I.

It only was supposed to take a month a max and I am still waiting patiently for my RTP's from Fast Intentions. Like I said "Different strokes for different folks."

They bit off more than they can chew. 1 year was my patience limit in waiting for parts that were supposed to be ready to ship in 4 to 6 weeks when I paid for them. Decent human beings would at least communicate, apologize, and refund money rather than forcing buyers who paid them in good faith for parts to jump through hoops and file complaints with credit card companies to get their money back.
A large bag of syphilitic *****! Oh my goodness!!

Guess it's on both sides then. I wish we had some alternative that was a dedicated source for FI in the G's (with good customer service)

I have gotten most (not all) of my money back but had to jump through hoops and wait months to get it and didn't get it from the people I paid it to. I'm not here to compare one vendor to another. I posted to warn the OP that GTM are horrible and listed my reasons for saying so. People who actually got what they paid for or have been able to get their calls answered or returned will defend them. I can't understand that, but that's their prerogative. I imagine they'll feel different when they're being ignored or put off, or when they call to find the number disconnected or the shop empty.

I've had good experiences but will not in any way defend. They clearly have issues, and it's like playing the lottery. If you win and get your item it's the best thing ever, if it takes your money and gives nothing in return, we have a whole new animal.

I've never seen such a reputable business mishandle that MHI turbo kit so poorly. BB I feel for you. You gave them every chance, and you got burned hard.

The premade original StgII kits are great kits.... If you do like DPE G did: Buy them used. Mine sold in a day.

GTM built quality products there's no doubt but unless you can go to their door pay and collect your products at once I wouldn't bother. I've read way too many horror stories especially on the370Z to wire any money their way. Just be careful that's what were trying to say.

Im a GTM turbo kit owner.

Their products is not that bad. you can buy one used and you will not regret your choice unless the pervious owner messed up with the turbos.

As for quality. their bad service doesn't mean their products is also bad.

Im not defending, if youre asking me which turbo kit I recommend I would say boosted performance.

FI and GTM are same just different filter location whats so ever.

PS: blackbetty you were warned about GTM but you kept deleting their post.. They were right huh?

I remember that as well g37hks. BB used to be a hard supporter and would delete negative posts about gtm. Funny to see him doing the same now. Anyone know if Alkatraz is still around?

I see what you're saying, tell us more about your cracked GTM manifolds then? GTM quality has dropped big time unfortunately. I know a few people locally ditching their manifolds and going custom. It's a shame.

Neither BB nor any of the us mods have any personal affiliation with any vendor on here. When people posted things like: "GTM can sck camel ballz they're horrible" of course it'll get deleted. Not because we're riding GTM's ball sack, but because it's harassment rather than constructive criticism. The fact that they're paying vendors just gets more attention since these vendors are paying to support this site and keep it running.

But if you dig up, a lot of threads in the past were allowed to be posted when people had genuine concerns. We even have a vendor feedback subforum specifically for that. In many cases though, a lot of these threads were requested to be taken down by their OPs simply because they reach some sort of resolution with that vendor.

I was the original MHI test car. I can tell you that 6-8 weeks turned into 7 months and one failed Turbo later I had a car that made noise from manifold piping rubbing on the engine compartment. This was at 7k mile (brand new car). The rubbing sounded terrible under any kind or torque or cornering.

Then at 10k miles the engine goes boom! So back to GTM it went for a rebuilt engine with the promise of the "new" manifolds and rubbing gone. so I double down and build the engine and the tranny. (Way more $ than I ever planned, but since it has to be cracked open, I poured more $$$ into it).

Then I'm told that there are serious problems with the MHI turbos so all the kits will get the Garrett's. That's what went into my car at that pony.

After another 8 months I finally got the car back (by the way it was supposed to be 2-3 months "worst case scenario". I heard "1 more week" more times than I can count on all my fingers and toes!

At the end of the day I've lost all faith in GTM, my bumper doesn't line up properly, there is still a rubbing noise at high torque/heavy acceleration. Some of the intercooler piping bolts don't line up with the holes on the engine.

I guess you expect some imperfection, but I feel there was always a lack of attention to detail or "fit and finish". Call me a perfectionist, but the car should never have rubbing noises in the engine compartment.
