Help rear differential leak?!?!?!????
rear differential leak?!?!?!????
I just ran through a long canyon ride and came back to check up on the car and found a leak where it seems to be a rear differential.
its not pouring out but it bleed out pretty good a mount of oil.
please tell me im not screwed. I dont even have a warranty anymore =[

Could be that bushing full of silicone. Read through this DIY to see if it describes your issue.

Most likely the bushing, it's known to go.
If you have less than 70k the dealership should fix it under warranty. I would do that & when it happens again out of warranty do the whiteline bushings IMO

I'm taking mine in tomorrow for a warranty replacement. Going to take three days and they said they're going to replace the whole cradle. I asked them why they were spending that much time and money instead of replacing all the bushings with the whiteline bushings and just got a shrug. I'm at 32k
I have a new bushing if you need it. Takes a few hours to replace. It's not a big deal. Tons and tons of us have done it. Me on my own and I did a solid bushing replacement which is way harder to do!

thx for the help guys. i scheduled an appointment tomorrow. I think its gonna be covered with warranty. I have a bad throwout bearing so i hope they will replace my transmission too; but i highly doubt it.
