7AT shift ****

Since I purchased my g37xS a few weeks ago I have been getting more and more annoyed with the factory shift **** because the prior owners (lease to boot) scratched the heck out of the "aluminum" looking plastic center part. I have found factory oem replacements for around $150-$165, but was wondering if there might be some cheaper alternatives. My car has the black (graphite) interior so I would like something that matched if there was something aftermarket out there. Thanks.

Mine is scratched up too. I was going to see if the dealership would replace it under warranty....just like they did for the steering wheel surround piece.

I am yes. I'll be in town next week as far as I know right now. Heading to NYC tomorrow but should be in town until early April unless I have to go to Brazil.

Ok. I stay in Olive Branch when I'm down there, but will have my company car so I could meet somewhere else if needed.

I recently went through the same thing (purchased a lease car that had a beat up shift ****). I ended up ordering this shift **** from a supporting vendor. I believe it is for an M45

Is this easy plug and play? Where'd you get this? Any other options out there? The OEM is boring.

Here's the route I went. Shifter **** from the M35 and I redid the shift boot stitching. I like the perforated leather a bit more than the other. Pretty simple install, you don't HAVE to cut to fit but it will pop off it you pull too hard. A couple minutes and a dremel and you'll be good to go.

It's a 2010. Not sure I like the wood but changing it low on the priority list.

This is the M45 shift ****, I too ordered and installed one of these several years back and it is a worthwhile and easy upgrade. It has held up very nice and looks higher-end than the stock G ****. As others have mentioned, it's an easy upgrade to do and requires a dremel to make a couple of new notches in the metal shift mechanism for the lock to attach to. I've never had any problems with the **** coming loose.
