Throttle Bodies .. Not opening in full !

In standstill acceleration only .. They're like 45% when flooring all the way down, so the car accelerates just like you drive a 4 cylinder engine and then once passes 3500 rpm they kick and open all of sudden like a turbo car lol.

so what cud it be ?
i can get new throttles but my worry is that it cud be something else that make them not open in full .

any ideas ?

It's in the throttle position tables in your ECU.

looks like i need a retune then, how hard is it for the tuner to trace it down and get it calibrated ?! did it happen before with ya ? looks like you experinced that before lol.

If all you want is to remove the throttle restriction you can get an I expensive tuner like the Bullydog and open the throttle all the way up. But it's twitchy if you do that.

Maybe change your map setting with the steering wheel controls? It could possibly be on one of your map settings that has the throttle response to less aggressive position.

No it's not like that, I asked my tuner to put only one main map, that valet or cut off or less aggressive maps make me laugh actually.
This is not a 1000 hp GTR that requiers more than a map to shift in between lol. So unless your car is turbo'ed or runs with a NOS, i don't see any purpose of making more than a map.

My car is stroked actually , it got a Brian Crower 4.1 stroker kit and full set of 264 duration cams
I may add another map for c16 fuel race as i'm running with 12:1 high compression pistons. Car is running great, not sure if there is any detonations yet using with with 95 pump gas. Gotta tune the car very soon n i'll have my tuner to look into that Throttles issue, lets see how that goes..

Cheers

I would have to disagree with you. I have 3 maps. One less aggressive for winter and saving a lil on gas, aggressive one and a valet map so if I ever valet my car they can't Rev over 3k rpm or go over 30km/h lol
