My PPE's don't throw any codes. Just don't break your O2 sensors in the process. F.I. shouldn't either. Z1's are shorties, so u could throw a HFC on if you are worried.

i dont think short tube headers should be a problem

long tube headers maybe.

I will probably be getting the stillen soon since Fast intentions does not make any short ones

Merge collector is crap and the design is only marginally better than stock. PPE's are stepped, have a 5" 15 degree merge collector and tuned to the powerband of our engine. You can also get them ceramic coated, they have a J tube for the sensors, and just after the merge collector it chokes down from 2 1/2" to 2 1/4", then back to 2 1/2". This is to help low end tq.

The Z1 shorties have a nice merge collector and are equal length. One collector is slightly longer on one header than the other, but it's negligible in flow. Because they are shorties, you have options to run resonated TP's, HFC's or TP's.

I would say the PPE's make more power as a stand alone mod, but the Z1's aren't too far behind.
