I've got an 09 g37 with 49k that just had its drive belt replaced at the dealer. Now I notice an increasing whine sound when I rev or increase the rpms on the engine. Can only really hear it when I do this in park or neutral. Should I be concerned about this? Or is the belt just tight and needs to loosen a bit? Any ideas why it could be doing this now? Thanks for any input.

Get a gator belt.

 

doesnt sound like a belt to me. my car whistles a little close to redline but i havent heard it recently, could be the exhaust or cuz i have a different engine.
