BTW dont know about you guys but I find this car really hard to drive smoothly in terms of the clutch engagement pretty jerky. WHat about you guys?
GW330 - There are threads here about the poor clutch feel. and a replacement that's available. The replacement clutch pedal assembly is made by RJM. Everyone who has purchased it and installed state that it is a HUGE improvement. I've bought the RJM pedal, but haven't found time to install it yet.

By the way I have 18K on mine and no issues with the CSC.

It starts by feeling that the pedal travel is getting strangely short, and quickly becomes nothing at all. Took about 30 seconds for me.

Also, you can't start the car if you can't engage the clutch, so... Dead is dead.

2008 with 50K miles and I've ended up replacing the CSC, master cylinder, and entire Clutch kit.

Takman, you go with OE or aftermarket? Good thinking on replacing the master. Save yourself future headaches.

Mine went at around 50K on my 2008. I don't know what those guys were thinking when they designed this thing...insane. There are so many horror stories on here about this...guys turning across traffic at lights, going down the highway...you think they would've done a recall.

I had the stealer do a fluid replace/bleed one time and the next day the pedal was flat on the floor. They had the nerve to say 'bring it down to the shop' which I obviously couldn't do as the pedal was flat to the floor. Stealer ended up flat-decking it to the shop for a fix (no idea whether they replaced the CSC or just re-bled it). Made sure they dropped off a loaner. That was a fun argument let me tell ya.

08 w/100k and not a problem yet. Heard about this though just because of it being plastic.

Yup, I figured might as well hit everything at once since I'm paying for the labor anyways.

I went with the Z Speed heavy duty CSC and South Bend clutch and flywheel. The clutch definitely grabs harder and I get clutch chatter but all in all a worthwhile change.

Thanks for the update. How much did the whole job set you back? Chatter goes away after when rpm? Much better feel than stock I bet too?

Here is a quote from silents1ick on another forum of a write up showing the new Clutch Concentric Slave Cylinder Elimination Kit.

before i get into any detail i would like to clear one thing out, by no means i m bashing on zspeed product, or saything any negative about them, it is a great producted compared to stock, but when it comes to ease of installation, bleeding,
and pedal feel Z1 CSC comes out on top....
it comes it all the neccessary insturction needed for installation...and when in doubt just call the guys at z1 they are very very helpfull... we have had few questions about adjustments, but as i said guys at z1 are very helpfull and will help you with any questions
here are some pics from todays installs on 07 350z....
