Yikes! I had no idea this was an endemic issue with the G/Z 6MT.

Mine blew yesterday, just as I was pulling into a shopping mall parking lot. Could have been a whole lot worse. I actually consider myself pretty lucky. I'm assuming it was the CSC, and will find out for sure later today. Pedal got weak and short, then quickly went limp. No clutch fluid in the reservoir.

It's a 2011 with only 18.8K miles. Very scary situation.

[edit] Shop just called. CSC was blown. Heavy sigh.

Original CSC at 74K. Just replaced one on my 2000 Honda Accord with 190K. First time, believe I caused the problem myself when I bled the slave with a vacuum pump. I think I damaged/moved a seal. It begin to leak shortly after that.

It wouldnt be such a problem if they didnt design the transmissions with the CSC inside of them. Causing replacement to quadruple in cost..

just a question: what happens when the CSC or MC fails? clutch pedal sticks to the floor, or what? can the car be driven at least by rev-matching?
