Skyline 6 speed in AWD G

Has anyone ever done this or thought about doing this to a AWD G? AS in putting in the manual gearbox that was meant for a R34 which was AWD. Would this be too costly? would it fit relatively easy? I have been thinking about this for a long time and if its possible this will be my winter project.

Don't know but curious about this one. I'd certainly want to make sure how the 7AT integrates with the ATTESA computer functions before trying it.

This would be a very interesting project.

I don't know about this side of the pond, but these guys might be able to provide you with some Japanese tuning house contacts that may be able to provide a bit of crucial insight before you embark on such an endeavour. Their show basically features Japanese tuning houses.

Edit: I believe I recall someone turning an early G into a money-is-no-object serious street machine, and the only reason I recall them not fitting AWD was because they ran out of room. I tried a quick online search for you, but it's too distant a memory in my mind to find it.
