Limp mode?

whats going on guys....I have a 2011 sedan the last few months every once in a while my car goes into limp mode...but not really, it will allow the rpms to go to the redline, but it takes a while to get there. at WOT it feels like there is a civic engine in this car. So i pull over and restart the car and it works fine again. This happend 3 times in the past 2 days. did a quick search on here no one seems to have this problem. any ideas? dealer said a while ago it was bc of my intakes (BS). the car also has RHFC. Think I should remove everything before i bring it in again?

I had a similar problem in my un-modded 2k9 G37xS --

I twice experienced the car trip into this mode where it would seem like it was hitting a much lower rev limited -- around 2500-4000 rpms, and I couldn't get higher than this .. it would buck and jerk .. I pulled over both times this happened and it would idle nice an smooth while in park, and I just turned it off, and turned it on again after 5 seconds and it drove perfectly.

The second time this happened, the dealership applied a transmission update, and hoped this would solve this problem as well -- no engine codes resulted. That being said, it last happened around 25k miles, and now I have 70k and have not yet experienced it again, knock on wood.
