Mine was not a core exchange, they did their magic on my own valve body. If you do a core exchange there is a little more involved with getting the ecu to recognize the exchange valve body.

There is more involved than increasing line pressure. There is a good explanation on the GTM website

+1 on the timeline. They told me 1-2 days for them to do it all in house by them. Total cost jumps to $2200 out the door though through them because of the $600 for the flash kit.

I had a nasty trans fluid leak not too long ago due to one of the hoses (from my Stillen Tranny fluid cooling system) not being clamped properly at the radiator. I got it fixed, but the tech at Infiniti told me when I bring it by to have the ATF topped off, they would more than likely have to keep it over night because they can only do it when the car is within the temps I stated above (98 - 104 degrees Fh). I'm thinking that's pretty accurate since it came from the Infiniti techs themselves...

Great! Thanks for the review.

Any idea how much HP and TQ the AT Tranny can withstand after the VB Upgrade?

The 7AT (Jatco JR711E) is also used in the M56, so at the very least you're looking at about 350hp/350tq at the wheels stock. If the VB kit bumps that by another 30-50% or so, then you're looking somewhere in the neighborhood of 400-500hp/tq.

No problem. Keep in mind though, I'm just guessing if it's 40-50% increase. But judging from this review, and what Transgo/GTM did with the 5AT valve body upgrade, it's a fair assessment. A lot of 350z are running the 5AT VB upgrade and TT with no problems.

Im getting a VB mod done on my 5AT next Monday/tues along with a Berk HFC. SpecialtyZ will also be giving it a tune. I am not sure if they are going to use the Transgo kit or something else. I will try and make a video of the shifting for those who are interested
