Transmission problem??? 5AT Sport

Hey guys so coming home from work today i was stuck in traffic when i realized theres a noticeable jerking from the car when i let my foot off the gas pedal at around 30mph or slower. Is this some type of typical transmission problem i should be aware about? Have a 08 G37s 5at

That's not good, sounds like a bad valve body.
My 5 at was acting up bad, lazy shifts, stuttering & all around shifting like a turd.
In my mechanics words, you've got a trans issue.
Btw just crossed the 50k mark when it was fine, then out of nowhere it goes bad.
Also trans fluid was changed 3x in 5 years do its not from neglect.
Good luck with getting it diagnosed, it's an expensive repair.
I ended up selling the g because of it.

You have a 6yr 70k powertrain warranty. Take it in to get the dealership to check it out

I agree with Kaboom. I just bought my 08 g37 Coupe and brought it in to the dealer to get a second key made. They did an inspection and found an oil leak that he said had just started. He said it would be covered under the drivetrain warranty and ordered the parts. If you are under 70k get it in and have them look it over.

Risky guy how much did the repair cost? My g37 is messing up I can't drive it because when I do, I give it gas and it stuttering and the rpm's rev up then shifts.

This issue just happened to me as well today. I was driving to work city streets in traffic and it starts shifting late and jerking the car when it would shift. It's never shown any issues with the transmission ever before and today was a pretty strange appearance to make. I parked the car at work waited a few hours and took the car around a couple of blocks and the problem was gone. I'm hoping this was a one time thing. I purchased this car about 3 months ago with a salvaged title. I took it to the infiniti dealership to do a used car inspection and came back with NO issues at all. The tech said I'm getting a very good car. I have an 08s 5AT with roughly 49500 miles.

Did anyone fix this issue on their car? know roughly how much it cost? and what exactly is the issue? Is it just a bad valve body?

Thank you in advance
