Good call. This thread is becoming so long.

Yeah, I'm down for the Aluminum yoke too. Its only like $100 difference and the whole point of all this is lightweight anyways. Like we've gone this far already with the Carbon driveshaft, might as well.
I already told Mark @PST that I couldn't come up with any volunteers to drop by his shop for anything. So he's going to going to try to find a G37 for test fitting and measurements. Hopefully soon so he can have them finished and we can buy them!

Okay cool. It would be easier for Mark @PST to build our Carbon Fiber driveshafts if he has oem shafts on hand to refer to. But I can understand not everyone here has one for donor or time to volunteer to drop by his shop.

I hope he finds a G37 or a volunteer for the test fit. So close yet so far...

IMO I think Infiniti is a little wierd.
Why put a metal/or whatever when they use cf standard on all z. Was it more cost effective?. Now I know why 370 responds better to mods, the cf driveshaft.
Why use a cf driveshaft on 350/370 z but not on a g with the exact same engine with rwd, maybe not fir the x models but rwd is rwd no?
I know when I saw a 350z in a lift, the cf I thought was aftermarket but it was stock.
The 2013 mustang gt 500 uses a cf shaft, & that thing pumps 600lbs of tq.

I asked Mark if he got the OEM driveshaft to build from...

Mark @PST:

"Yea, last week, I'm ready to go, I need someone that is familiar with
working on cars. I'm very willing to negotiate a good deal for his time and
effort. I'll be out in the field next week but if you find someone we can
get things moving the week of the 18th."

Someone take advantage of the good deal!! lol
Things would definitely get going alot faster if we had someone drop by thier shop
