Help Need help with exhaust!

Need help with exhaust!

Well basically, I had Berk's HFCs installed on my 08 G. Hoping for it to be a clean deep growl, I was satisfied until i hit 3k RPMs and above. It basically sounds like V-tec, as a burst of sound and raspiness overtakes the deep VQ sound. If anyone has suggestions for replacements or reasons to why it does this, please go ahead.

Btw, I have the MXP catback system.

Thats the MXP. I had it long ago when it first came out then I paired it with there double resonate test pipes and it went to crap. It sounded great when you down shifted . Like a F1 car but other then that myself and everyone else that head it said it souned horriable. I even changed TPs and that didnt help. I then picked up a Fast Intentions exhaust coupled that to my TPs and Ive been in love ever since. The MXP from my experience isnt made for all that flow. With stock cats it sounds great but if you use anything more with it then it just goes out of control.

Thanks bro, that's the reply I needed. I always thought it was the cat-back but only have gotten answers regarding my HFCs. Do you think the FI or Motordyne would sound better with my HFCs?

FI will definitely not rasp with HFC's or Resonated TP's. Wait time's a b!tch from what I hear though.
