^^ a certified tuner has announced it on their facebook page (jtran). I don't think its an april fools. Bad for their business. Regardless, I'm gonna wait until we get more results from this new development on the 3.7.

Has anyone here done the Uprev VVEL tuning? I'm having my car tuned this weekend and my tuner mentioned that it might be available for my 09. Since it's so new, I'm scared something might go wrong and don't want him to experiment on my car!

Only a few tuners have started working with it and nobody has used it enough to figure out the limits. Still too new to take full advantage of it.

There was a video on the370z forum where they got the Z to sound like it had crazy lumpy cams. I'm guessing they're getting somewhere at least with the timing.
