Uprev cooling Fans control

Uprev cooling Fans control
I'm just wondering , if anyone tried to set the cooling fans to come on earlier .
Factory setting is around 98c (210F) to have the fan runs at full speed.
Yesterday my tuner tried to log in and do the changes but unfortunately he couldn't do it (because the map only works with 2009+ models and mine is 2008).

You will need to contact Jared at Uprev and see if he can update your cable for the fan control. I'm not sure how that works out though since I haven't done that yet.
Anyhow, in stock form, the fans start working at 98C coolant temp, however they only work at a duty cycle of about 40% or something in that range. And I can't remember if only one or both fans work. Either way I think the fan settings as well as the thermostat temp rating are too hot for the HR and even more so for the VHR. And being in the GCC in 130+F heat does not help at all.

I do have lower temp thermostat 66c and it's great , but still I need to set the fans to kick earlier.

Advan do you have the Mishimoto Racing T-stat? the 66c/150f one?
I saw that MotoRad makes one too but it is a 82c/180f T-stat.
With the known heating issues the VHR's have, I'm thinking this will probably be my first mod...but I was wondering which one is better and how difficult is the tuning to have the fans adjusted to activate earlier on the 2009 G37 Journey? Thanks in advance for the info.

Might be old news to you all, but my tuner just set my fan to come on at 170 F and lowered the setting for coolant temperature to stop throwing code PO128 coolant temp to low . for free took about a half hour. TPG tuning Export Pa
