UpRev tuning question
According to the UpRev website, I should "keep [my] vehicle tuned for the situation - moderate configuration for everyday use and more aggressive for weekends at the track"
I enjoy some spirited driving, at least compared to my wife in her minivan, but my G37S is my daily driver. I have never driven on a track. (Maybe someday, but it would be a rare event). I don't usually drive at particularly high RPMs on my commutes and trips.
I will get a tune when my exhaust and RHFC are installed on Thursday. What practical difference would I notice between the rev options?

My auto shifts smoother and feels much better after an uprev tune. I wasnt aware of options on the uprev tune, mine was tuned at national speed in wilm. NC, whatever they did works great though.
My car just flat out drove better with UPREV, There are different options on the tune( agreesivness) But with just a cat back and HFC I would just keep the one tune, An get the valet option, Just in case you ever valet it, I have mine set at 3000 RPM and 30 MHP.
Map 1 - unlimited / 7600rpm
Map 2 - 155mp/h / 6000rpm
Map 3 - 80mp/h / 5000rpm
Map 4 - 60mp/h / 4500rpm
Map 5 - 45mp/h / 3500rpm
So question is. Is map1 = aggressive and map2 moderate? Or are you talking about different tune?
^I think hes talking about a different tune but you should be able to have multiple maps and switch through the cruise control settings.
When I tune I'll probably get 4 maps. A valey tune that wont rev above about 3k rpm, an eco tune, a daily driving tune and a more aggressive setup for canyons/spirited/track driving.

I've been wanting to get re-tune when I get exhaust and I'll ask about aggressive and moderate tune setting.

They probably have an uprev protuner visit and tune cars for them. Find out details and post it up. As long as its a tuner who knows how to tune uprev who's dyno he's using doesn't really matter
A shop can't advertise that that tune Uprev if they aren't a protuner shop, but you could call around and see if they do it on the DL. There are a lot of places that tune it unofficially, only problem is that they can't get support from Uprev in a pinch if they have issues..
