Cobb, Uprev (Osiris) or Hypertech help for 370GT Skyline

I have googled, search & gone through 38 pages of the modding forum before deciding to post my question here as i've not really found my answer.

I have a 2008 Skyline 370 GT 5at. I have not done any mods to the engine whatsoever and no plans to mod it yet. The only mods i've done are purely handling mods (Hotchkis sways and BC coils) .

G37, or Skyline for that matter, are not sold locally from where im at. So you could imagine there not being any uprev or whatever tuners you guys are used to having over there in the US. We do have local tuners, but they are not certified professionals & plus they're not familiar with our car . The only good thing from all this is that our cars are super rare here and i believe i'm one of the only 4 owners of these cars .

I know its better to tune the ECU after installing some mods but there are several reasons i want to do it soon. Apart from the obvious, HP & torque gains, i want to get rid of the speed limiter (Japan Models are speed limited to 110mph only) and the throttle restricter and lag.

So whats the best tuner for my car with stock engine?? Any other suggestions apart from the tuners mentioned??

Might be better off with a COBB if you dont have access to a good tuner to use uprev. Where are you from? Maybe someone can help if they know where there from.

You need Uprev. Nothing else even comes close. Where specifically are you? I might know a tuner near you

From: Framingham Ma,
STAY as far away from hypertech as possiable, Look into UPREV, I'm sure there is a tuner over their that tunes with them, Just go to UPREV's webpage and click the tuners tab and enter your info,, This thread is a LOSS without pics/

Uprev will do an etune for anyone, but you have to either buy Osiris standard for full price from them or pay $50 each.

All the Osiris packages come with a datalogging program, so you just flash the base tune onto the ecu then drive around while you datalog and email it to them, they adjust your tune and send it back. Pretty easy actually.

Since there isn't an uprev tuner near you, you have 2 options.

Osiris standard ($500 plus shipping) gives you the basic cable and tune license, you get 3 updates via email. You cannot acce, view, or edit the tune at all

Osiris tuner ($700 plus shipping) gives you the tuner version cable and tune license, you can make any adjustments to the tune that you want, or a local tuner could do dyno tuning with it. Etunes are $50 each.

Since you're so far away I'd really recommend the tuner version with 1 etune, it will give you a good base tune from uprev AND the ability to make changes yourself if you need to. (Sending you a PM on how to get it cheaper than 700 too )
