One of those bolts is a vent hole and the other one is a dipstick. I don't understand how the vent hole can ingest water because if that's the case then it can also ingest all kinds of crap that would cause oil contamination. Either way something is messed up and you shouldn't be the one paying for it.

Hey WEIBOY no worries man, We are always cool , I know you are helping been talking with you on here a and the Z forum for a long time,

BTW no man I may have said it wrong both the brass caps are there and tight. But some how water go in it VIA the vent hole.. They even told me this is like a one off thing no one has ever heard of. I told them yesterday if no one has heard of it and it's a one off thing then why is it no warrentied, Like a defective vent or something,. I'm going to call Vortech this morning and poke around also and see what they say, Stillen told me that vortech will not warrenty it, But Stillen may still? We'll see what happens today when I talk to them. Trust me guys I'm pushing a little on this, Just doesnt make sense to me. They keep saying power washing would do that.. BTW who power washes the engine. I have NEVER once washed this engine, But when I did on my other cars was always just light running water, degreaser and a brush. An I would always wrapp stuff, If it wasnt the Carb, and DST cap it was the turbo itself. If I ever did it on this car I would have wrapped the whole damn thing worring the belt would get wet and slip off, Who knew there was a hole in the the brass fitting that would take water, Not ME, like NO one on the Z forum and only a few people here. Really something they should put in their owners manual.

ANMVQ: Do you have a carbon hood with vents in it? Did you drive in the rain?

I know it's painful to be accountable, but who knows (you?) where the vents are dumping rainwater, if so. That the engine bay spattered with oil also is a logical progression: As the reservoir filled with water it lifted the oil level and that came out first.

While it's running is there a slight vacuum drawn to that 'vent'?

Ughhhhh. I wish you better, but before this can happen again, you need to find the source.

I do but the vents are not directly over the SC( And was building a sheild for it) I was actually worried about the belt getting wet and slipping off, as I didnt even know till now there is a vent hole. . I only had the hood on for two weeks, in the rain once( Car is garaged), But washed the car 3 times, Never dawned on me to cover is since I was told it was a sealed "Self lubricating unit- Stillen onwers manual". plus I tried not to spray in the vents again -fear of getting the belt wet. There has to be a slight vacum draw when running but if they knew this why not have something in place where the SC would not suck anything in, No matter how small.

Doesnt the actual TS hood have something to direct the water away under the hood so not to get the motor all wet?

Yea Ive seen your pics . What I meant to say is there may be a way to redirect the water coming through the hood because I belive the TS hood does that.

LOL , was in the process of building a sheild for the SC and belt.. Was worried the belt may get wet and slip.. Only If I knew there was a hole on top of the SC adn it would let water in.

Trust me I am, NO There is no warning nothing, I went through the owners manual like 3 times yesterday and nothing, Nothing on it.. NO they can not prove anything, Just saying NOPE you pay,, I am really not happy.

Going to call Vortech today and raise some crap, I have been civil with Stillen as they need Vortech to warrenty it for them to honor that to me, but it is BS,,
