It must be a pain getting that fat nozzle into the little unleaded hole though. Then again, you don't drive a Corvette, so maybe you're used to a large nozzle and don't need to compensate.

I am accustomed to the big nozzle, little hole conundrum. I lived in SEAsia for a long time.


OP: NEVER USE DIESEL. Also, please use 91/93 super. If you are that tight on funds, buy a Sentra.

I always use 93 Shell or 94 Sunco, Would never use anything else( Or Brand either) The break in I used was 500-600 Oil change, Then again @ 2k then every 2500, I'm crazy tho, LOL

Swiss becasue about the boosters, I have experiece with TURBO 108, Been using it for like 15 or so years, Will give a slight increase but the fuel burns SUPER CLEAN, I did a test years ago where a did not run it for 3k took the mani off and and saw tons of carbon and dirt on the intake runners and plenum, Then ran it for the next 3k, Removed it again and the damn thing was shinning Could have eating of it.. Since then I run it once a month with a fill up, They also just came out with a "RACE" off raod use only formula, Been running that in mine after the SC install the wifes car, and Bike get the regular one at the same time,

BTW test was on a 87 SS Monte with 650HP( Small block Chevy FTW)

I just recently got my G37S. It is used and was wondering about gas. Should I stick to normal gas stations with 92-93 octane or the one I usually use is 90 octane but no ethanol? 90 octane is the highest grade they carry. Would it be ok with the 90 since there isnt any ethanol? Just wondering. Thanks for any input.

Mikey, there is a HUGE hidden effect of using regular gas on high compression engines: combustion is so very much hotter!! Your entire block will work a lot hotter than it should by using premium gas. I had an A6 and I thought it would not really make a difference. In 4 years I burned up, literally, 2 coil packs that sat on the block. The shop did not know what was wrong until they pulled the spark plugs, they could not be any redder, a clear sign of over heated combustion. Also, think about it this way: How much are you saving between the two options? Right, a couple dollars a tank, not really worth it.....
