Driveshaft Installation Help??
Driveshaft Installation Help??
Ordered the Z1 aluminum driveshaft and fedex has just texted me that it has been delivered!
So now I am faced with installing it. I have seen threads in the past where people have mentioned that doing a drive shaft install is "very easy" and "super straight forward". Maybe it will be crystal clear to me, once I am under the car, but for now, can anyone point me to a DIY, or offer up some tips/pointers?
Thanks! Can't wait to get this done and come back with some feedback!

1) Remove exhaust except the muffler at the back, this will give you access to heat shields
2) Remove heat shields (two) and you'll see the drive shaft
3) Factory drive shaft is connected at three points
- Disconnect the center bearing that is in the middle of drive shaft
- Unbolt the four nuts on end of the drive shaft (Manual only)
- Driveshaft should slide out on the spline side (stainless cylindrical in shape) , never got this far.
Installation is reverse of removal.
