Nice, solid numbers there! Does anyone know if there were internal improvements to the engine on the IPL motor over the stock 328hp VQ37VHR?
I plan on going with Stillen Gen 3 but the Greddy system also looks interesting. Odd that both pipes share a single filter element though but dyno numbers would be interesting to see how it compares with Stillen.

I have not seen anything listed that would say there were any internal improvements done to an IPL. Basicly dual exhaust and tune.

IPL engines are at 348hp ( 18-20hp gain ), tuned 2.5 inch piping exhaust. And I think the intake was altered as well for higher performance. Can't forget the IPL badge adds 20hp lol

Sadly, my 2011 IPL only has the one IPL badge. So that's why I had to throw on an intake and get a tune... I really wish they had the IPL on the seat backs like the 2013s. Or a little something on the steering wheel? Was that really that complicated to figure out?
But yes, IPL performance is well within reach of a G37s with non-FI bolt ons.

Another local owner dyno'd a stock IPL at 294whp over the weekend. Was very impressive for a stock G37-IPL IMO. I've read many threads of other G37s guys not getting close to those numbers, even with bolt on mods. Why is the IPL putting out much better numbers... The stock exhaust isn't that impressive.

^^ probably a difference in parameters. I dyno'd yesterday at Z car and got 313 hp and 270 to the wheels on my 2012 6mt. Only has 4k miles on it, so hoping it will do better after some break in. Have FI test pipes right now and considering going to ART pipes for some better gains.
