I am next week, but that is pretty weird since the kit is 6k. Also does the Vortech blower have a ticking sound to it normally?

what does the ticking noise sound like? you checked the oil, belt, pulley or any loose bolts?

Right that is the sound, the blower belt is tight and the serpentine belt has an auto-tensioner. It sounds like a bad bearing or a loose bolt. I am going to keep an eye on it for now, but when I do the oil change I going to put a wrench on everything. I checked all the bolts by hand and none were loose.

Really because that would suck if the blower is bad. The oil if at the cross hairs mark therefore it should have the right amount of oil in it.

"the vortech can make a "broken sound" at idle. It normally makes a clunky, rattle where something just sounds broken on the car. To solve that, you might try increasing your idle rpms up to at least 900 rpms. Going to a smaller pulley also helps because they spin the blower faster, even while at idle. A dealer can increase the idle on earlier model cars. There's other ways too like ECU flashes, AAM's Cipher tool, some shops carry Consult II's which is what dealers use, some aftermarket engine managements can raise the idle. Some people have drilled a tiny 1/8 inch hole in their throttlebody which generally isn't recommended because it's permanent and an expensive part."

I have read this before and forgot the above note. When I get it tuned I will rasie the idle rpm. Do you know if they removed the speed limiter with the stillen tune because I was able to hit a speed that I thought wasn't possible in these cars.

Well that is no good then. Does anyone have any pictures of their gauge setup and/or recommendations for gauges?
