A single turbo is not available as far as I know, and not really logical with the twins. The car has dual throttle bodies, one on each bank of the motor and twin turbos are the norm. Supercharger = 1.

There is a thread floating around here from an engine builder who is building a naturally aspirated 1200+ HP, BUT most guys who have spent a lot of money are in the 500 HP range with twin turbos, proper bolt ons, and lots of tuning and tweaking. I don't think 800HP is practical for a daily driver and worth the $$ for what other car you can get with the money your going to put in.

Just substitute G37 for 350Z.

My favorite was that kid last week or so that wanted more "boost" from his car.

I've been slacking about posting this up in these types of threads. My bad. I'm going to start slapping them in every thread where it's appropriate.

This little video was created exactly for these threads on forums. I should probably make an updated myg37.com specific one.

Hey, the Supra guys run these numbers easily. One big fat MF-in' turbo...

With the drop in compression to achieve this, and the slow response of a single LARGE turbo, expect a DD that will run with my Chrysler Town and Country around town. LOLZ!

That said, prove us wrong and prove your point. I'd like to be schooled.

Coop

^^What he said. But I'm going to assume that you have deep pockets and actually want to do this right (ie. twin turbo/built motor). GTM offers 2 packages that would meet your needs GTM Motorsports POWER PACKAGES GTM VQ37VHR 800HP TWIN TURBO PACKAGE-M/T-GTR KILLER and GTM Motorsports POWER PACKAGES GTM VQ37VHR 1000HP TWIN TURBO PACKAGE-M/T-GTR KILLER
Looking forward to this build and post lots of pictures

This vid is funny stuff. By the time you spend all that money on your G to even get 500 whp you really should have bought a different car. One that is actually designed to support 500 whp. 800? Give me a break. Daily driver? Don't do any mods to your car, it will be more reliable.

Wish I had $50k to spend lol.

Not that I wouldn't use it as a daily driver, but if for no other reason to say that I actually did it.

However, if I were to spend $50k on a crate engine, and $40k for the car itself, I'd probably just spend another $10k or so and get a GTR (not that I don't have sex with my G every night though)

Then again, if I had tht much money, I'd probably be someone VERY important.

And Betty...nice vid!

I wonder if the OP will go through with this. There's gotta be at least one person on this forum that has pockets deep enough for something like this.

What Mattster said, it would be a good time to buy a GTR for the power level you are looking for. I know the G is a lot sexier looking and all, but good lawd that's alotta money!

Supras and Skylines are doing it everyday and they spend loads of $$, so why not do it in the G? Personally if my G was a weekend toy and I had cash to blow I'd do a 2JZ or LS2 swap.
