ecu re flash with stock exhaust
I have never done this as my car is literally 4 week old with no mods... but I have done some research on the subject and found that there are still changes that can be done... typically the main reason to get a tune after a mod is to normalize the AF mixture.... Too lean and you burn up your engine... too rich and it becomes a dog.....
BUT they also have features like setting a base map that makes the overall car tune more aggressive - typically called the 91 Octane / 93 Octane tune. Other items are removing the 0 - 60 WOT restriction. Pretty much from what I heard is under 60 mph there are some governors put on to reduce torque during WOT. Rev Limiter (raise or lower), Disable Traction control, etc. etc....
Soooo in a nutshell yes you can have some changes that could yield improvements...
Regarding cobb... They no longer support G37...You wont get any more maps out of them in otherwords...so I would steer clear unless you have a certified COBB tuner that can work with you.
I would look at Uprev before anything else.... I myself am looking at Uprev standard comes with 3 etunes - every etune after that is 50 bucks - not too bad...
I looked into the Hypertech unit but felt it was over priced when uprev is about 150 more and you can do much more - especially once you start to put on some mods..
