Auto Tranny Cooler

Anyone running one of these on their car?? When I would drive the car hard at all this summer all I could smell was Tranny fluid and or coolant and fell a ton of heat coming from the car. I have ZERO leaks but was wondering about install an aftermarket cooler.
Thanx Guys

I've ran a tranny cooler on my 5at w/ 30k miles, for the last 15k to improve the health of my tranny. I am now supercharged an run a better quality one (Setrab) but I definitely suggest you get one if you drive an auto.

I also have tranny cooler , Setrab 19 row series 1, and yes it improve shifting , I feel tranny more smoother.
I did 2 installing methods , first one was bypassing the radiator which damaged the outer hose after one week (because of the pressure) so I don't recommended unless you have big cooler.

The second is by using the radiator which I think its better. Now almost two months and no issues.

I think we have a tranny cooler already, so you want a beefier one? Am I correct? The car is hot, for sure, but I attribute it to the engine, not so the tranny. Could be wrong though.

Frankly, if you've ran into overheating problems, that's lame. Can we get non super heating car parts please? Like better engine and tranny cooling? Seems like basics to me...

I think the G37x has a factory engine oil cooler (water type) , mine hasn't so i went for Setrab 25 row.

For the AT tranny all of us have it from factory , but i upgraded it.

My 08 5AT Sport did not come with a tranny cooler. Must be differently speced for the states. I did have the power steering cooler from the factory though. I added a tranny cooler when I had the SC installed just to be on the safe side. I can't tell you if the performance is any different due to the tranny cooler but the Uprev tune I got also adjust the transmission program and that definitely made a big difference.

You can use whatever goods the job done! I'm using Setrab because I'm Supercharged and GTM has a kit that goes with this setup very well.
