I have a 2008 G37S has 74940 miles on it “she’s been around ****”… Well I’m not sure because my car is at the dealership and it’s a weekend but I believe that I blew my rear differential because when I was getting on the interstate I was going around 40 mph on the on ramp nothing crazy and before I got out of 3rd gear all my power went out and I thought it was the transmission because I have plenty of problems with that on my 4th transmission right now but that another story. Well I let my car cool down on the interstate hoping and praying that my car will work I hit the clutch hit the button and took it out of gear and in gear to see if my transmission was okay and it felt fine felt like it was going in gears and clutch was still nice and stiff... well it tried pulling off and I hear a lot of gears grinding in the back so naturally I thought I was the rear differential well I had it towed Saturday night so I’m waiting till Monday morning to give them a call and have a nice conversation with my service advisor… if anyone has any information that would be useful that would be much appreciated… even though this car has put me through hell and back I STILL LOVE THIS CAR lol i have a smile on my face every time i turn it on and go on a ride

 

okay well i just got a cal from my service advisor and told me its all under warranty and that it was not the rear differential it was the rear driver cv axel... just thought i would keep you peeps informed
