Not much info on STs for the g. Have they even finished the kit? I know they have one for the 370z. Maybe check for reviews there?

Gtm is probably the best for fi, but I'd rather turbo if I had the cash. Supercharge is a ton of power too for much less. I've heard running turbos on our cars after install and tuning will cost about 15k then another 5k aside for maintenance.

The only advantage of a rear mount single turbo is its pricing

Personally, I'm goin to go with the gtm supercharger. Why?

Price: 2k initial less cost than the turbo kit.

Reliabilty: supercharger is more reliable. Less stain on the motor. It's a smooth increase in power rather than a jolt like a turbo

Ease of installation: compared to a turbo the instal is much simpler.

Power delivery: I want more low/mid end power, this car already ha great power higher up.

What you're saying is true, but does not answer the OP's question

I'm with you on this. Exactly what I'm looking for.
Do you have GTM SC?

Steve, I have to say that you shouldn't be telling people this as fact. It's fine if it's your opinion, but it's just not entirely true as fact. You cannot simply make the statement that a supercharger is more reliable and it puts less strain on the motor. What are you basing that on? Talk to people who have had extensive experience with both (like technicians who install and service both systems), they may tell you the opposite. I have talked to people who know more then you or I know and I've gotten logical arguments both ways. It's not a black and white as you stated it. It' apples and oranges, you can't simply state that one is better or worse.

To the OP's original question, I can't tell you much about the STS so I can't tell you which is better. I know a bit about the GTM system from the tons of things I've read about it (both good and bad) and from talking to Sam personally. If your choice is between only those 2 options I'd select the GTM but that's just my opinion. If I found out more about the STS I might feel differently.

^^ I didn't mean to state that as fact. I should of added "in my opinion" sorry for the confusion. Call STs and gtm and get some info on both!

Yeah, I wasnt trying to jump down your throat or anything, but we've all got opinions, myself especially.

But I was just in this debate (I was more of a listener than a participant) this past weekend with some very well respected and experienced local techs who do this every day. They strongly disagreed and both of them are knowledgeable and know what they are talking about. They both had excellent points and neither was really "wrong".

Good luck with your GTM SC decision and keep us updated. I'm sure you'll be very happy.

This is quoted from their website regarding the 370Z kit:
130+ HP Bolt-On Gains.
A combination of our patented remote-mount technology combined with an intercooler provides the lowest consistent air intake temperatures over any other forced induction system on the market. Owners of otherwise stock vehicles will experience 470whp @ 7 pounds of boost, but also receive the benefit of increased fuel economy over the competition. The beautifully tuned exhaust note from an STS Remote-Mount Turbo System is sure to put a grin on your face as you flyby all those other imports.
It caused me to do this
