Lol, the shop where I was getting my HFC's installed stripped the bolt also. The guy said it took him 2 hours to get it out cus it was just spinning around. If you strip the bolt, will there be a problem with putting on an HFC on?

Yes, me and my buddy had to do that when I did mine, just be careful not a lot of room to play with. quite difficult to cut the head of the bolt from underneath so just cut the bolt from the bottom. New bolts can be had at any exhaust shop(most HFC and test pipes come with new bolts anyway)

Correct, we cut the thread and it allowed us to remove the rest of the bolt, Make sure you get the metal composite gaskets from z1 motorsports, they create a great seal, you'll never have to worry about leaks

Had the exact same problem...
Used WD40 PB Blaster, 14mm breaker bar, deep socket, shallow socket, air gun, li-on impact wrench, still no luck, heated it with Mapp Gas torch, didnt do the job.
I dont have an oxy-acetalyne torch, and i ended up taking it to Midas who took about 2.5 hours to finish the job, as i got the other 4 bolts off, and left those top two for them, you can't hacksaw them off, since they are bolts and need to stay in place for the HFC install. Don't mess around just a warning, i spent hours trying to get them loose, its a losing battle without an oxy-acetalyne torch!
