Help with Cobb AP
Help with Cobb AP
I was changing a map cable got snagged on me getting out of the car. Now accessport won't reconnect to the car and the car won't start. Cable connects to my PC no problem??
Sorry to hear bro... did you try calling COBB direct to see if they could assist you ? Did you try to do a ecu reset but disconnecting the battery ? Thats an option... atleast you could say you tried something... ??? GL with your problem and hope someone could help...
Same thing happened to me few weeks back, I accidently tapped the cable with my foot gettin in the car it interupted the installing process so the Cobb Ap went to recover mode which didn't do shiet; in the end I had to send the AP and the ECU off to COBB Tuning in Austin TX luckily I live in Houston and got it back a few days later and what a costly mistake it was.
They said the Cobb AP wasn't communicating with the ECU due to faulty Dongle cost me $50 to replace another $50 for diagnostics and the fee to ship it all back. IDK, prob got shafted into replacing the dongle lol owell I was glad Cobb was able to get it fixed and everything is A OK.
Btw does your monitoring feature work on your AP? like logging the AFR etc mine stop working few months back don't know what caused it to stop surely the new dongle didnt help
GL bro I feel your pain
