Let me know guys if this works.
Infiniti G35 and Nissan 350Z resetting ECU, Throttle Release, Idle Air Volume Learning
Idle Air Volume Learning (Throttle Position Learning)
It is better to count the time accurately with a clock.
1. Perform “Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learning”.
2. Perform “Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning”.
3. Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.
4. Turn ignition switch “OFF” and wait at least 10 seconds.
5. Confirm that the accelerator pedal is fully released, then turn ignition switch “ON” and wait 3 seconds.
6. Repeat the following (steps 7a, 7b) procedures quickly five times within 5 seconds.
7a. Fully depress the accelerator pedal (HARD)
7b. Fully release the accelerator pedal.
8. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 20 seconds until the Check Engine Light (CEL) stops blinking and turned ON.
9. Fully release the accelerator pedal within 3 seconds after the CEL is ON.
10. Start engine and let it idle.
11. Wait 20 seconds.
12. Rev up the engine two or three times and make sure the idle speed and ignition timing are within the specifications.

My car had apparently "learned" to not have most of the probs mentioned here.
After the reset they have ALL showed up.
It's going to dealer Monday and they are very helpful and willing to update anything necessary.
They mentioned that there are known probs with the Torque converter and will check that also and exchange under warranty. This is in response to my comments on the tranny stutter at mid speed. I told him it felt like I was running on the rumble strip when it happened which is true.
Great help and nice people at Infinity of Cool springs in TN.

I've got an 08' and it does this too only when the AC is on. When I get to a light at idle it dips to about 500 rpm for a couple seconds and then goes back up to normal. It dips low enough where I feel it stutter. Very annoying...

^^^ When I noticed that hesitation in the car, the poor idling and the fact that I stalled the car so many times at regular smooth take-offs, I never got any type of indication on my dash.
I'm guessing if the problem becomes worse, you'll then get a visual indicator?
Did you get one?

Hey guys
Went to the dealer to get the oil change and told them about the RPM dipping down during idle and they called me back with since I have a Injen CAI and Tanabe Exhaust that the tuning is off. They said I need to have the car re-tuned. Is that the case or do I need to get the throttle bodies cleaned? I am just shy of 36k and haven't cleaned the TB's since I got it!
