Gonna make a catch can

So i was gonna wait for the JEBperformance catch can, but im impatient, so i wanna make one to have on the meantime

Let me know if this would work:

I hope your impressed with my paint skills. Anyways im wondering if the the T fitting would work. So basically i would have the catch can, 1/2 inch of 3/8 tubing (maybe more so i can tuck the barb away), the t fitting, And then the hoses with leave the barb to the appropriate place.

I assume this set up will work? ive been contemplating just getting 2 ebay catch cans, but theres just not enough room in the engine bay for 2. Let me know asap so i can start this project and be a asset to the community (and make black betty love me again, since he now has Friday by Jessica Black playing in his G)
