You certainly won't save it if you don't start now. Not beating you up but S2ktoEvo is right. Money in the bank is worth a lot.

I saved for a long time before getting my SC kit. It was well worth it and I had the added benefit of the extended period of anticipation. There is something to be said for not giving in to immediate gratification on a small scale when a little patience and self control can yield a much higher level of gratification!

Well 5k may sound a lot all at once but you will probly end up doing that anyways with other bolt on mods. Sounds like your gonna get intake/exhaust/tune/coils/camberkit.

Intake = around 500
exhaust = 1300
tune = 700
coils = 1000
camber kit = 500
install = 350 (idk about)

total = 4,350 with install or 4k installing yourself.

I've been down this route, plus I have HFC another $500. If I were you i would save up for the SC

thats my 2 cents and I wish someone told me to too before i bought all this

To each his own, get what you like, I started by lowering the car on some springs, and plasti dipped the stock wheels and trim. All depends on what youre going for, looks or performance.

You are right dont get me wrong, But there are some things I would like now, Rear Difussure, and rear sport spoiler. I'm not sure about coils and, intake exhaust for now.. I may just get these two and wait and see. The only thing that scares me about FI on this is the warrenty on the car, would have to save the $$$ for FI and have something blow,, Pay to play. . . .I dont have the pay now so wait. I think if you are going to go FI on a car like this you need an additional 10k in the back in case the motors pops, Plus I have a X so add what 2k to that for the VB upgrade.

If it'll take you THAT long to save up for a supercharger, you don't have any business spending $1400 on the car anyway. As my grandfather used to say "cash is king and accepted everywhere". I'm not trying to give you a hard time, really. I've been down the road your going, and really wish I'd kept the money instead of buying crap for my car I didn't need.

No I know,. My brother taught me if you do not have cash for it then you can't buy it. No CC use at all.. To save 5k yea would take me like 3 years.. LOL Paying for a house( over 500k), My, car an INS. I'm sure I could cut things out and save it soon, But like I said above, Just me maybe but to go FI you need to make sure you have the funds to replace crap if it breaks, IE Engine, Tranny rearend alexs ECT..
