New G37x Accel Issues
New G37x Accel Issues
Hey guys,
So I just purchased a new G37x, currently with about 500 miles on it (started with 160) and have noticed some acceleration issues. Generally, in auto mode, the engine takes about maybe a 1/2 second to a second to respond. Also, in sport shift mode, the first gear seems very jerky, as the rpms dont seem to respond fluidly (again seems like poor throttle response).
So I was just curious what you guys thought of this issue. Maybe the engine is still breaking in? I had a loaner for a week and it didnt seem like it had the issue. But I had been reading on the board that others have had transmission issues so I wasnt sure if this was possibly related. Thanks for any help in advance.

Same here Viper57. I'm looking into addressing this based on the following thread: https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-sed...reprogram.html
it's a little early to tell, for sure. more than likely, as i mentioned in your other post, it's the break in period. the 1/2 second lag you're hearing = time for transmission to downshift...you have SEVEN gears!
note that the throttle body closes as you get higher into the rpm + closer to redline (Osiris tune needed); to help lessen the "damage" from hitting the redline/fuel cut off. just give it more time!
enjoy your car man!!!
