Some stuff happened health wise and I had to put it on hold for some important things (I had to quickly learn how to prioritize).

I'm still waiting for the Stage 2 kit to finish and release, so I guess you could say I'm not in a rush for sure now lol.

It'll happen though I'm just waiting.

I am going to try the STS rear turbo. I have spoke to them several times over the past two weeks and feel good about it. They are telling me that the kit for the 370 will work but it needs longer pipes and cost slightly more. They sent pics of the install and it didn't look too bad. What I didn't like was the fact one of our exhaust will be gone and replaced with an intake.

Sts bolt on kit

STS doesn't have a bolt on the the g yet. They do have one for the 370Z.
I spoke with them today about trying to make this work. They have some concerns about the length of the charge pipes and exhaust. I know the G coupe has 12 in longer wheel base and the length is 9 inches longer. I am not sure about the difference under the hood but I am sure there is some. Using Uncoated pipes can't I fab piping for the difference and make it work?
My installer thinks this is doable and didn't think it would be that difficult.
I have pretty much decided to do this but would appreciate some feedback or anticipation of problems I may run into.

I would have if Rick Squires would have been more receptive to doing it. Vernon, the sales Rep, had such poor follow through I wouldn't even deal with him anymore. After many conversations with Rick I planned to drive from GA to Orem Utah... 23 hrs by map quest. Shipping was going to run 1000 each way and that cut into funds to much. Rick quoted my $7600 installed with gauges. He has no plans on R & D for the G. He was willing to do the install if there were only little mods to the 370 kit. I felt like I was chasing them to it to me. One last attempt I asked Rick to price me the 370 kit with uncoated pipes and I would do install and mods myself. Somewhere in our many conversations he mentioned his type customer was one that would ship the car and didn't mind spending 20,000. Maybe 3 kids ago But not now. He never responded with a price and I haven't bothered wasting my time anymore. Probably like most of you that are married, when my wife gives me a green light I have to spend the money before I **** her off or it has to go somewhere else. I ended up ordering the GTM from Sam about two weeks ago. He emailed me Sat and said it was almost ready to ship. Hopefully I'll be turning wrenches by next weekend. For me, service goes along way and outweighs price to some degree. I have the patience of a 3 year old when it comes to getting stuff for my car. My wife made me promise nothing else this year. I agreed knowing my "she account" ..... Money she doesn't know about gets regular funding. Long reply but it doesn't seem like squires wants anything to do with the G.

From: Framingham Ma,
I feel you man. Sorry it was such a PIA. I myself are waiting for the wife to give me the green light on a GTM SC. Most likely will be a while since she just approved me buying rims. A lot of people do not know how it is to have to run big purchases buy someone else. Especially if you have kids. Glad to hear you went with GTM.
Service is pricless IMO. I drove 45 minutes for me rims and there was a place 10 mins away Service sux).
Keep us updated on the GTM kit, Twins?

I will keep you updated on the twin turbo. Hopefully shipping this week. Ironically after I posted yesterday about STS, Rick emailed me about 20 minutes ago and asked if I wanted to go with the 370 kit uncoated. I would have but its too late now. I still have to figure something out for gauges but I can't put a lot into those now. I have searched for pics of different G's and other than the one Modme has that ties into the nav system I haven't found any set ups that stand out. Any ideas?

From: Framingham Ma,
I think you talking about the same one I saw( Greddy) I think that showed on the nav screen, You can also look a triple gauge pod that goes on dash( 370) like. I had that on my Mazda speed 3. yes WAY different car but still looked good. Or have something customed under the radio where the ashtray is.
