Is it bad to install intake/exhaust before 2,000 miles?
Think i'm getting a new 2011 and wanted to install an intake and exhaust, but wanted to know if it would cause any harm to install before the usual 2,000 mile break in period even if the car is not taken to high rpms. If someone could give me some advice or pointers that'd be great.
Thanks

I dont see why no, assuming your properly breaking in your car (which to me is driving like a grandma, but there is alot of debate on how to actually break it a car, or if its just a myth) it wont matter. It wont make a difference if you wait or not. It will be easier to instal the exhaust sooner so the bolts arent impossible to remove.
Some people say drive it liek you stole it, some say drive like a grandma. I believe the manual tells you to drive like a grandma, so i just decided to do that! As for intakes i love my R2C's super loud when you run the car a bit, look great and super easy to instal. Lots of people like the Stillen Gen3's, but they take a bit more work (have to cut away some plastic housing).
