I'm having my tranny replaced under warranty. It's a long shot but I was wondering if the clutch assembly is part of them replacing the entire tranny.

Any of you with the tranny replacement have they re-used your clutch?

 

yep - reused the clutch and csc.

 

How many miles are there on your car? Might be worth to pay for the new clutch since they are there any way... Just a thought.

 

i don't think they replace the clutch assembly.

Had the same thought. They quoted me $1100 in parts and an hour labor.

Needless to say I'm holding off until it's actually a necessity.

 

not that i know. but i would doubt it. Infiniti wont replace it unless its broken.
