Review 4.08 Gears + Quafie LSD Installed :)
No.
As to the other question, yes the speedo WILL be off if you change gear ratio's. But I think has been determined to be such a small amount that correction isn't really necessary. I think they figured out that at 65mph you'd only be off 3 mph or something. Hardly worth the effort to "fix"

. When you change the gear ratio's it throws it off.
Kosstick, didn't you say you were swapping our your rear pumpkin completely, with another make/model? Evidently not eh? Did you notice how the abs sensors came out of the pumpkin when you installed it? I mentioned in another thread - I'm swapping completely, the rear pumpkin from an '08 HR Z w/ 4.08 FD gears. Still haven't solved this 1 abs sensor thing versus my 2 abs sensors.
"the convertible with 7a/t comes with a 3.36 final drive but the 6m/t has a 3.91 instead of the 3.69 of the coupe with 6m/t".
This being the case, if I changed my final drive from 3.36 to 3.91 (instead of 4.08), would I get similar benefits? Is changing it even possible (swap vert part for coupe part)? I am not interested in top speed (max allowed here is 120Km/h, but I would love better acceleration

I have been following these threads for a while now and agree with the above why not go 3.91 instead of 4.08. I know when I used to build street and stip cars we always used 3.73( Perfect all a round gear). Not sure why everyone goes 4.08..
