Do you have a 0-60 or 1/4 mile?

I got the gears and parts as well, can't wait to install.
Someone told me I would lose a lot of top end acceleration, or struggle at high speed, is that true? HP increases all the way to redline, with torque decrease slightly. I don't see how you would loose top speed accel. Of course you would lose some theoretical top speed, but the gears will top out at ~180.

I have not noticed top end acceleration but that is based on my butt dyno. I honestly got to 110 pretty easily.. No idea why you would want to go faster...

As far as where to order parts from I honestly wouldn't recommend Z1 Auto... Dealing with them has just been headache after headache. I am not sure if they recently got this unprofessional or this is a one time thing but it was pretty much horrible even though they tried to rectify the situation but they didn't really go out of their way to do much...

would be interesting to see 0-60 acceleration comparing to stock's low 5's.

If the speedo is off you should be able to adjust it in the Diagnostic Section of the AV System.

interesting tid bit. the convertible with 7a/t comes with a 3.36 final drive but the 6m/t has a 3.91 instead of the 3.69 of the coupe with 6m/t. looks like they tried to make up some of the weight disadvantage in the 6m/t with a lower rear drive but didnt do anything to the auto.

Drove by a few times near the little stand up Speed/Radar trap Signs (No idea what they are called but the ones that display MPH) I was going 31 mph and it showed 30 I am probably 1mph off and that can be from my 20's

Those things are never right. There supposed to calibrate those thing every couple of years but they never bother.

Changing gear ratio's (or tires for that matter) will effect your mph as a percentage. Ie if there is a 5% difference it would be off 1.5mph at 30, 3mph at 60, 6mph at 120.

Not a big deal really I'm just curious. If it's getting the measurement from anywhere in your drive train it'll be off. Now if it's getting it from the axles (not many do) you'll be fine.

Well the speed radar detectors are fairly new. From what I read it should be getting speed from somwhere else.

Awesome news about the cruise control. Now I have to find out if the 2008's with 5sp autos are running the same logic as the 2009+ with 7sp autos. The cruise control logic for the 08's suggest the cruise control will not work. That makes since because older Z's and G's with 5sp autos lose their cruise control function after swapping gears. Maybe the 7sp autos have a different logic for the cruise contol.
