I'm on Eibachs pro kit. My local shop told me I need the whole axle replaced! So far it drives normal, no weird noise yet. How much did it cost you to get it done?

I'm try to get this one fixed. If it rips the boot again then that leaves me with no choice but to get coilovers.

Yea get it fixed just think if it happens again your going to pay 125 then to take off the old springs another 125 thats 250 dollars. That way you could take the springs off and make the dealer ship fix it under warranty then get coil overs in a month. I am going to get bc coil overs that are actually ment for the car to ride good.

That would have been a good plan. But I didn't keep my stock springs. I know, that was really stupid and i kicked myself for that. But lemme know how the ride is vs your Eibachs. I think my springs are stiff enough for me.

I am not gunna lie but the stock corners so much better then eibach, i really dont understand why and only thing i hate from the stock springs is the height. So i am going to order my coil overs in a couple of weeks lol

Dealer replaced the boot for free. Service writer said that it might have happened from fastening the car in the trailer when it was delivered.
He did noticed the car was lowered and he said that wouldn't cause the boot to ripped. Maybe maybe not??? As long as they replaced it for free.

Is this CV boot only present on the X model? I have RWD and so I assume I don't CV boots on the front wheels. Am I right or wrong?
