Don't do headers on this car. The minimal gains aren't worth the price of the product + install, IMO.

In the end, with all your bolt-ons, a tune afterwards will really show the best results. But you gotta start somewhere! Start saving up. Nothing is really that cheap for this car.

Don't waste your money on basic bolt-ons if you're looking for POWER.

All the basic bolt-ons do very minimal with power. If you're looking for more power, save money and go with forced induction + test pipes +cat-back exhaust.

You WILL get some power out of it if you get all bolt-ons + a tune, but you'd end up spending a lot of money at the end.

Guess the first questions should have been: What are your goals? What kind of budget?

If $ isn't an issue, go forced induction. GTM supercharger ftw!

If you want handling... you should definitely look for a set of coilovers.

I happen to have two sets for sell. I'd recommend the Apex'i for SIGNIFICANT handling improvements.

Check out my for sale section here:

Well, you could buy all the possible bolt-ons available for this car, and not spend anywhere near $15g, so you're good there. lol

Coilovers, front/rear sway bars, GT Spec front strut bar/under-braces, upgraded rotors/pads/stainless steel brake lines, and you're set for handling.

As far as performance... catback exhaust (I have Fast Intentions on my sedan and absolutely LOVE it), Stillen Gen 3 intakes, resonated test pipes, possibly the Fast Intentions longtube headers... with all of that, the car will be ridiculously loud, FYI. And possibly the Motordyne intake manifold seen here:

The Motordyne M370 Intake Manifold - Nissan 370Z Forum

But I'd wait for some results first.

And then, to finish it all off... an UpRev tune!

UpRev is a company that supplies a software-based tune for many cars, including ours. You'd have to find a local dealer/dyno shop to do the tuning for you. I know they are actually based out of Austin, so you may even consider a road trip! It does look like there are 3 shops in Houston:

UpRev - Engine Management

But heck, you're just a few hours from Austin... go to the guys themselves!

The tuner would have this software installed on their laptop... they'd strap your car down on the dyno, plug in to the OBD port under the steering wheel, and then go from there. I'd only trust a pro with this stuff.

You'd want all of your physical mods installed before you got a tune.

then theres also clutch, flywheels, pullys, light weight rims with sticky tires or maybe even just stroking it out to a 4.5l i think gtm has something available that should give you some torque
.

definately wait til you have all your power mods ie. intake exhaust etc. on first since each addition will need a new configuration. suspension mods can go before or after an uprev done since they will not be affected but your suspension can also be tuned to balance the car with you in it. If you have the money start with brakes to be on the safe side. better and longer stopping power usually in a lighter form that decrease unsprung weight which equals alot more weight reduction then adding a carbon fiber hood or removing the spare tire.

Normally, I would say do headers last... But if you are considering doing Long Tube Headers where you are replacing both the Headers and Cats, go for it. They should produce a good hp gain and an exotic sound as they say.
