Ive got a clicking sound that I can hear when I at lower speeds when I accelerate. Its problly there at higher sppeds but I just cant hear it over my exhaust. I was at the dealership the other day and had one of the techs listening to it and he said it wasnt the VVL clicking. He said he couldnt hear it from the outside. It seems from what he said ou can only hear it in the car. He did pop the hood and I brake torqed the car and I coulf still hear it inside even though I wasnt moving. He said he couldnt hear i outside. Anyone had this or have any ideas?

can you hear it while in nutral and rev the engine? Doews the ticking get faster with the rpm? and does it only start to tick at say 2500-3500 RPM? if so there is a TSB out for theat it is actually some excess sealent in the colant system cycling through. Check the TSB section and find the TSB it will give you more details. I had this on my 08 and the TSB was applied and fixed the issue.

Mine just started doing it at 16,600 miles. It is not the VVL so this really seems logical. Thanks Shumby.
