Infiniti Performance Line (IPL)
I got a quote from my dealer to install my Magnaflow Catback....they wanted $400

Are the dealer techs qualified to install a TT or SC? I would rather have a shop with some experience do the installation.
You aren't that far off from what Nismo has done previously. I used to own an Altima SE-R and it turned out the majority of Nismo parts were not made in house, but rather they farmed out the engineering specs to very reputable aftermarket companies. Take for example the Nismo intake for the Altima (maybe other models too) this was made by AEM and was basically the same exact intake as an AEM just with a water bypass valve. But it's always nice to have factory supported performance items that can be dealer installed and keep your warranty intact.

G and m might be moved over to the e class platform. I can't post the link to the article since I'm posting from my phone but idk why nissan would even consider this since they have an asume FM platform already.

As I've said before Japanese car mags are notorious for making stuff up.
I don't see how there would be any cost savings for Nissan since all the Infiniti vehicles are based on ther FM platform (with the exception of the QX56). Now they'd have to support an additional platform.
