i know i read your post in another thread (These are the symtoms I was experiencing when NA. When I hit the throttle it felt laggy. One day my car drives like a beast then the next felt like crap. I always thought it was just a batch of bad gas so that's why I never brought it up to my dealers attention.) i was just a little nervous when i first heard there was problems. but urs was prior to the sc and whiddles is just an adjustment being made to the ECU flash. i want some reviews asap when everything is good.

Can you PM me the details. Is it a VVEL control issue? I think there were a number of TSB's out there about that.

He mentioned about it in another thread ( it's hardware, not software related). It has absolutely nothing to do with the supercharger kit as he said before.

yes it has something to do with the VVEL. the intake sprockets went bad and a gasket came off loose for some unknown reason. i believe i'm not the first one to have something like this broken. i was told that our cars temp is way too high and should've came with a factory oil cooler.

Sounds like the ticking / knocking noise that's suppose to be "normal" isn't quite normal.

I suggest Redline oil if you're concerned about the heat.

Just an FYI.. Over the past month we have shipped out many superchargers and have received great feedback from our customers on everything from the kit itself, the ease of installation, the quality of the components and the driving experience. However, we have also found there are variations in boost with some cars experiencing pressures higher than we are comfortable with.

As the reliability and longevity of our customers’ vehicles are our utmost concern, we are contacting all those that have been shipped the supercharger kit. These variances could be caused by differences in exhaust components, climate, elevation, etc. and we want to ensure their setup is within the proper boost levels.

If any STILLEN Supercharger customers haven't gotten their communication, please contact us at 866-250-5542 or feel free to send me a PM.
