How much oil does it take?

Was just looking at Amsoil website and saw this...

2010 NISSAN/DATSUN 370Z 3.7L 6-cyl Engine Code VQ37VHR<input name="ctl00$bph1$wucGarageRecommendations1$hdnUnit ID" id="ctl00_bph1_wucGarageRecommendations1_hdnUnitID " value="10629" type="hidden">
Engine, with filter..........5.2 quarts

2010 INFINITI G37 3.7L 6-cyl Engine Code VQ37VHR<input name="ctl00$bph1$wucGarageRecommendations1$hdnUnit ID" id="ctl00_bph1_wucGarageRecommendations1_hdnUnitID " value="7625" type="hidden">
Engine, Conv., with filter..........9.8 quarts
Engine, Coupe, with filter..........10.9 quarts
Engine, Sedan, with filter..........9.8 quarts

Strange... what's up with these numbers?

It's wrong. 5.2 quarts is right. Since they're the same exact engine in every way, it's obviously a mistake. A big one.

Ha, that's great.

I saw the G37 numbers earlier today and was thinking, wow, I have to get 3 jugs everytime I change oil...
Then just checked the 370Z.

Maybe, sounds about right for ATF capacity.

5.2 according to the manual. Can't go wrong following it.

But we all know that the interwebz is always correct.

I changed the oil the other day and only put in 5quarts. And it read 3/4 between F and L.

my G8 GT took 9 quarts, but the L76 was 6 liters, and had a big racing sump. Somebody's gonna get an ultra cavitated engine using the Amsoil specs....

I'm gonna call Amsoil today and let them know, also wanted to call to find out about the EAO filter support for G37 anyway.

Using Amsoil 0w-30 and EAO filter for my Hondas for years.

Actually they have the correct data for 2009 with Filter info I needed.
Just 2010 was updated incorrectly.

I also just used a 5qt jug. I guess I can get a quart on the side and add some more if needed later, but so far it's fine.

Definitely the coolant requirement. I work at Advance Auto and that's the same numbers I saw when I swapped my coolant the other day. Sorry to bump a super old post but figured I'd provide my input if anybody needed in the future! Pretty new here. Just a lurker mostly
