UpREV Cobb and other questions.

I read the post about the UpRev magic, but beeing a noob I have no clue what was discussed and what you all ment.

So here is what I have.

2009 G37S 6mt.

Stock Dyno: 284.56 hp and 245.89 torque.

Installed the Takeda short ram and hope to dyno again this week.

My questions are as follows:

1) What is this about the UpRev and what does it do?

2) Why did some one say they were sorry for the Cobb guys? What is Cobb?

3) Should I get the UpRev tune and what can I expect to gain?

4) I am planning on getting an MXP Exhaust some time in the future. Should I wait till then to get the tune or should I get it now?

5) Are my dyno numbers normal or too high?

6) Off topic but why does Takeda only have one heat shield and even that one seems quite pointless.

Thank you all.

Also I'll try to post before and after the Takeda as soon as I do the dyno for anyone interested in real gains.

1. Uprev is the customised reflash for the ecu, it's tuned for your mods.

2.Cobb ... backwards 'd' Cobb is the reflash too, but too generic one. it can even be harmful, cause this kind of reflash can change the code other than it needs to and the other way it was designed to.

3. you can get the uprev cable now with the flash and correct your tune later, but if you are going to dynotune, i say wait and save on dyno time..

i see you have a russian name. anytime soon i'm planning to become a dealer of uprev in ukraine and will have good prices for russia if you need to

If you want a tune I'd suggest upRev over Cobb for sure!
