Satisfactory Intake

Hey Everyone,

I was looking on youtube for injen SRI videos and I saw this intake that said
"SATISFACTION COLD AIR INTAKE SYSTEMS" Suction Sound of INFINITI G37 / NISSAN SKYLINE COUPE V36 370GT DUAL CARBON FILTER AIR INTAKE. US$700 plus shipping.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/FmGc_Uq2xZ0&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/FmGc_Uq2xZ0&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Tried posting up a video but couldnt lol. Here is the youtube link.

Just thought i'd share with yall haha. Look pretty crazy. These look like they could be heard pretty good haha. $700 for an intake.
-Ram air intake would be nice. similar to spoons / mugen or password JDMs ram air into their intakes for the S2K $1000 dollar intake gave them some good gains. If i remember I think they said somewhere around 18+ HP. But I doubt that we have room in the engine bays lol.
S2K full RAM air

Or a vendor or company should maybe get a snorkel going for the G37's.

GTR's twin snorkel
Password:JDM Dry Carbon Fiber Ram Air Induction Snorkel (R35 GT-R) | Password JDM

Think the GTR's parts are being gouged at or however you spell it. Just because its a Gtr lol... they got intakes that sell for half of the price of those 2 little vents LOL.

S2k snorkel

Hmmmm.... the snorkel is an interesting idea. Considering that some people feel they lose tq when installing a complete aftermarket intake, I wonder if keeping the stock intakes and somehow adding a snorkel to direct more airflow into the air intake would show gains on the G37.

Explain? people on s2ki love it. The only problem with that ram air intake that i remember was that the top of it rubbed agianst some of their hoods.

I'm pretty sure it would. Because more air would be getting into the intake box. Them drift cars have them silicon or whatever tubes in their bumper than push air into the engine bays sooooo im pretty sure it would give some sort of power.

If you're paying 1k (or more for the kevlar), it better fit.

It doesn't.

They sell pretty damn cheap used because the market got flooded with intakes that don't have perfect fitment.

Infiniti G37 Electric Supercharger Kits Infiniti G37 Superchargers

The old reviews I've read on systems like these is that there's not enough pressure to produce squat.

I love the marketing pitch.. "unlike belt driven superchargers we don't take power to make power."
