you said it broke down at 26k.. and you bought it at 6.7k... so you drove ~19k in 4 months?

The clutch should be covered by the warranty if it's defective; they should be able to see if it's defective when they take it apart.

Also for $1,400 dollars that a rip! You should buy a hi-perf clutch and if so a flywheel you could get both and installed for around $2,000 - but not at the Stealership.

Tranny warranty is around 50,00 miles 7 years...

Also... if you bought it at 19,000 miles they need to honor it and fix it because that is BS! Guy who had it before you f'ed it up if anything..

REVIEW, Infinti, Manhasset, bad service

^^ Yep they are Scum Dealership!

After reading that review its no doubt they're the "Don't let the door hit you in the *** on the way out" type of guys.

We should have a Stealership warning list around here to warn new buyers!

Well I can tell you that this forum indexes well in Google so this should come up under reviews.

Notice I added the Keyword at title to help better index this haha!

I would think the master cylinder would be covered under warranty. Failure of the master cylinder is almost certainly a manufacturer defect. Its not a wear item like the clutch plate or flywheel.

it is, it should be. but the dealer INSISTED it was the clutch not the slave cylinder. SO guess what, i either pay 1400 for a clutch+slave cylinder, worst case scenario i wouldnt hold it above them to replace the slave cylinder, and not even replace my clutch. or go to an independant shop who recognizes that its the slave cylinder and just replace that.

I would try a different dealer. Or at least ask to speak to the General Manager of the dealer (and remember to walk softly but carry a big stick)...

This issue is scaring me. My younger brother drove my car and stalled so many times while I was gone for school. He was trying to learn how to drive in it. Don't want to jack your thread with my nonsense though. I hope everything goes well with yours. As others suggested, trying a different dealer could help. God bless

I could do a search but i'd rather be blasted by whoever posts next

the clutch is covered by warranty but only half the cost. you pay half and the dealer pays the other half.
