My first Infiniti and I love it! But at 12k miles the tranny went out. Going 80 on I-25 and started slowing and lost all drive. No noise or anything. Ater sitting on the side of the road for a minute or so, car started rolling forward. Only had first 3 gears. Made it to the dealer and they gave me a loaner as I only bought the car last August. Anyone else have anything like this? Guys at the dealer were all excited saying they hadn't had a tranny problem for some time. Only thing I noticed was a strong smell of hot rubber while I was sitting there for a minute. Also the DS mode would not work.

 

I've only had my car for a month, but isn't there a TSB for the rear end of the car or some such, or the tranny?

 

Car is back. Turns out it was a trottle body problem. Got stuck in a mode and would not tell the tranny to shift.
