Alright, so I recently have this squeaking/popping/screeching noise while shifting into 5th gear. I took my car to the dealership and they said it was normal.... anyone else have this problem? The gears are not grinding or anything, it just makes this annoying squeak noise... and it's only when I'm engaging into in 5th gear...

 

I have a squeak all the time when I shift out of gear, or when my clutch and flywheel dis-engage. Took it to the dealer and drove with a tech. They heard it too, drove some other ones on the lot, and said it was normal. Not sure I buy it though.

 

This is Why automatic is the best choice... lol

I don't have this.
Bring it to other dealership and tell them it's def not normal.

I remember the Same problem with my 07z right b4 my tranny was replaced!

 

dealers are bunch of asses, once they sold you the car, they wont care about you.
